APPLIED ACOUSTICS 982 UNIVERSAL CHARGER

The 982 Smart Charger is designed for recharging Applied Acoustics’ beacons fitted with rechargeable batteries(excluding the 300 Series Micro Beacons and the 1000 Series Beacons). It offers robust construction for use in dry environments such as a vessel’s operations room, and includes a large back-lit LCD display and an easy-to-operate 4-key menu.

The charger has built-in features for battery fault detection and a responder test function, ensuring the reliability and proper operation of the beacons. The charger automatically switches to trickle charge once the main charging cycle is complete, ensuring efficient and safe battery maintenance.
