SONARDYNE iWAND 6G

The iWAND 6G is a handheld acoustic transponder test and configuration device developed by Sonardyne for use with their 6G® product range. The iWAND is designed for easy, portable, and rugged testing of subsea transponders, both in the workshop and on-site before deployment. Its small, splash-proof design makes it ideal for testing on ROVs, subsea structures, or even on the back deck of a ship.

With its sunlight-readable display, the iWAND provides a simple and intuitive interface to test, gather, and download configurations for all 6G® transponders. It allows for the easy acoustic testing of transponders, ensuring they operate correctly by testing acoustic transmission, reception functions, and other critical systems such as the release mechanism and battery pack.
