The Fugro RST Single Multi-bore Hub Cleaning Tool is designed for cleaning the sealing faces of various wellhead connectors using a rotary cleaning assembly. It is especially suited for subsea operations where gasket surfaces need to be cleaned before new seals are applied, ensuring proper sealing and minimizing leakage risks.

Customizable Design: The tool can be configured for various wellhead sizes and hub profiles, including 13” to 5’ 8” and 18” to 3’ 4”, with bespoke designs available for any hub size or number of bores.Hydraulic Motor: The tool is driven by a hydraulic motor powered through a ISO 13628-8 type A dual-port hot-stab receptacle, allowing bi-directional cleaning with minimal water ingress.Landing Feet: Features three landing feet that help centralize the tool and maintain uniform pressure on the gasket during cleaning, preventing unwanted force from the ROV.Bi-directional Cleaning: The tool’s design supports both forward and reverse cleaning, reducing operational time and improving efficiency.Replaceable Cleaning Pads: Uses Scotchbrite-type cleaning pads that conform to the sealing surface for effective cleaning without scoring, available in different grades.Optional Acid Injection: Acid can be locally injected into the cleaning pads to enhance cleaning, supplied via a second hot-stab receptacle.
