Oceanscan is pleased to announce the appointment of John McKinnon as Operations Manager for Oceanscan Inc.

John joins Oceanscan with extensive experience spanning military aviation, offshore operations, subsea survey, ROV operations, and commercial support. He began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Avionics Technician before progressing to an instructional role at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training, where he was recognised as a Master Training Specialist.

After transitioning to the offshore industry, John developed a strong technical and operational background through positions with C-Innovation, UTEC Survey, and UTEC Americas. His career continued within the ACTEON group at Seatronics, where he served as ROV Operations Lead and Sales Engineer, supporting clients with both operational expertise and technical solutions.

Prior to joining Oceanscan, John was Senior Sales and Support Specialist at NOR Offshore Rentals, where he worked closely with customers across the marine and subsea sectors, providing technical guidance, equipment support, and commercial expertise.

In his new role as Operations Manager, John will oversee operational activities for Oceanscan Inc., supporting customers across the United States while helping to drive efficiency, service excellence, and continued business growth.
