AANDERAA WLR7 & WLR8

The Aanderaa WLR7 is a robust, self-contained water level recorder designed for long-term seabed deployment in coastal and oceanographic research. It uses a highly accurate quartz pressure sensor with a 40-second integration time to filter out wave noise, delivering precise water level measurements. The device also records temperature (±0.1°C accuracy) and optionally conductivity (0.1% resolution), making it versatile for environmental monitoring. It features acoustic telemetry for real-time data transmission up to 800 meters and stores data internally via a DSU 2990 or 2990E unit. With a battery life of up to 343 days at 10-minute recording intervals and a durable construction of nickel-plated bronze and stainless steel, the WLR7 is ideal for tidal studies, coastal monitoring, and underwater research. The included mooring frame ensures stable and secure seabed deployment.
