EDDYFI PECA PROBE

The Eddyfi PECA™ High-Resolution Probe is a cutting-edge PEC solution designed for the detection and sizing of corrosion hidden under surface-forming scabs, blisters, and scale. Featuring a patent-pending high-resolution dual-sensor array, the probe ensures enhanced signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and detects smaller defects compared to conventional PEC probes. With 75mm (3in) of coverage per pass, encoded dynamic scanning, and real-time processing software, inspections are completed in under a minute. The PECA probe is lightweight, highly portable, and capable of scanning wall thicknesses from 3–19mm (0.12–0.75in) and liftoffs up to 50mm (2in). Designed for safe, radiation-free, and in-service use, this probe eliminates the need for surface preparation, providing efficient and cost-effective corrosion assessment for industries like oil & gas, power generation, and offshore structures.
