FLUXO 3

FLUXO 3 is a black magnetic ink used for non-destructive testing via magnetic particle inspection. It consists of fine black magnetic powder (1 µm particle size) suspended in a high flash point petroleum distillate, offering high sensitivity and excellent particle mobility. This ready-to-use ink is applied during magnetization, revealing surface and near-surface defects as black indications against a white contrast background (typically FLUXO 4 or FLUXO 7). It is effective at detecting discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials and performs with a 70mm detection range on a Type 2 reference block. FLUXO 3 is suitable for use in both industrial and nuclear environments due to its low sulphur and halogen content.
