The Fugro Class 7 Torque Tool is a high-torque subsea tool designed for operations requiring up to 33,895 Nm (25,000 lbf-ft) of continuous torque. It is compliant with ISO 13628-8 and API 17H/17D (1996) standards and is used for subsea interventions where precision and high torque are critical, such as in rotary actuators and other heavy-duty applications.

Hydraulic Operation: Powered by a mineral oil hydraulic supply, providing bi-directional torque with a 61:1 torque multiplier.High Torque Output: Delivers 33,895 Nm (25,000 lbf-ft) of continuous torque.Interface Compatibility: Designed to work with ISO 13628-8 class 7, API 17H, and API 17D (1996) connections for operational flexibility.Torque and Turns Measurement: Equipped with a torque transducer and dual proximity sensors, offering torque and turns counting accuracy (to 1/153rd of a turn).Compact Design: Easy to integrate into subsea systems, with a choice of handles (paddle, fishtail, T-bar, or custom).Manipulator Operable: Can be operated via ROV manipulator for subsea use.Long Design Life: Built to last with a 10-year design life, reducing long-term operational costs.
