The Olympus CHAIN Scanner is a versatile manual pipe inspection system designed for circumferential weld inspections and corrosion mapping on pipes with outer diameters ranging from 1.75 in. to 38 in. (45 mm to 965 mm). Engineered for both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic surfaces, this scanner uses encoded chain links for stable, straight-axis movement, eliminating steering issues common in magnetic wheel systems. Ideal for confined spaces, it supports phased array, TOFD, and conventional ultrasonic testing (UT) with tool-free adjustments and ergonomic handling.
