OLYMPUS TOFD SCANNER

The Olympus HST-X04 Manual Weld TOFD Scanner is a lightweight, portable scanner designed for Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) and pulse-echo inspections of welds on pipes and plates. It supports a wide range of Olympus instruments, including the OmniScan MX2, SX, and FOCUS LT, and enables precise defect detection such as cracks, porosity, and volumetric flaws. Its modular frame includes adjustable bars for wider probe spacing, while spring-loaded probe holders ensure consistent coupling on curved or uneven surfaces. The mini-wheel encoder provides accurate positional tracking, and the IP67 rating ensures performance in harsh environments, with operating temperatures from -10°C to 55°C. The scanner is compatible with CentraScan™ TOFD probes (2.25–15 MHz) and ST1/ST2 wedges, with optional accessories available for pulse-echo inspections.
