The Phoenix WREN Weld Root Erosion Scanner is a compact, handheld TOFD (Time-of-Flight Diffraction) scanner designed for weld root erosion inspections and general TOFD applications in confined or hard-to-access areas. Key features include One-Handed Operation: Ideal for site inspections on pipes (2″ OD and up), pressure vessels, storage tanks, and structural welds. Lightweight Design: Available in 100 mm (WREN 4) and 200 mm (WREN 8) frame lengths for flexibility in tight spaces.Supports TOFD transducers with M12 threads and a range of wedges (plastic, brass, stainless steel) at 45°, 60°, 70° angles.Spring-loaded gimballed pins accommodate mismatched or irregular welds .Linear encoder ensures accurate positional tracking, compatible with any encoded TOFD instrument. Operates in any orientation (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
