SONARDYNE ROVNav 6

The ROVNav 6 is a 6G® acoustic ranging and telemetry transceiver, specifically designed for installation on work-class ROVs. It combines Long BaseLine (LBL) positioning with USBL responder functionality, making it ideal for deepwater operations. The ROVNav 6 is engineered for high-power output, which ensures superior performance in challenging conditions, such as noisy vehicles or multipath environments.

This device supports Wideband®2 signal processing, enhancing range and acoustic performance. In addition, it includes an emergency transponder mode, activated via a Li-ion rechargeable battery pack, allowing the ROV to be located by USBL in the event of power failure.

With rugged construction, the ROVNav 6 offers an array of internal sensors (pressure, temperature, sound velocity, inclinometer), and is compatible with Sonardyne’s modem and logging equipment like AMT and Fetch products for data retrieval and configuration management.
