SONARDYNE WSM 6+ AUV/ROV POSITIONING BEACON (USBL)

The Sonardyne WSM 6+ is a compact and versatile USBL transponder/responder designed for subsea positioning, tracking, and navigation in deep-water operations. The WSM 6+ features Wideband®2 technology, which supports both interrogation and reply signals, offering superior accuracy and mitigation of interference in multi-path environments.

It operates in both transponder and responder modes, and is available in two models Type 8370-1111: Omni-Directional transducer, depth rated to 1,000 meters and Type 8370-4112: Directional transducer, depth rated to 4,000 meters.

The system is ideal for ROV tracking, subsea vehicle navigation, and surveying applications. It supports all Sonardyne Wideband 1 and Wideband 2 signals, and is compatible with HPR 400 navigation systems. The unit also includes a depth sensor for improved positioning accuracy.
