The Bowtech ROV Subsea Black Light is a portable, battery-powered ultraviolet (UV) lamp designed for underwater inspection tasks beyond weld inspection. Ideal for applications like fluorescent dye tracing, petroleum leak detection, and underwater forensic investigations, it offers a high-intensity UV output of about 3.25mW at 450mm. The compact, self-contained unit is powered by a 12V battery and features a diver-controlled switch. Built with durable anodized aluminum housings, it is pressure tested to 180 meters depth, with options to extend this. The lamp reaches full UV output within 30 seconds, making it efficient for subsea inspection and monitoring.
