TELEDYNE RDI 300/600/1200 KHZ WORKHORSE NAVIGATOR

The Workhorse Navigator is a compact, high-precision underwater sensor designed for tracking the movement and position of subsea vehicles. Utilizing Doppler technology with BroadBand signal processing, it delivers accurate velocity and altitude measurements even over rough terrain and at low altitudes (as low as 0.5 m with the WHN 1200 model). It features built-in compass, tilt, and temperature sensors, with optional current profiling and pressure/depth sensors. The system supports RS232 or RS422 communication and outputs data in ASCII or binary format. With low power consumption (3–8 W) and depth ratings up to 6000 m, it’s ideal for underwater navigation and survey operations. Available in three models—WHN 1200 (high precision, short range), WHN 600 (medium range), and WHN 300 (longest range up to 200 m altitude)—it suits various subsea applications.
