The Tritech Gemini 720is is a high-resolution multibeam imaging sonar engineered for real-time underwater navigation, obstacle avoidance, and search and rescue in low-visibility conditions. Operating at 720kHz, it offers crisp imaging with an impressive 120° field of view and detection ranges from 0.2 m to 120 m. The sonar delivers video-like imagery with update rates of 5–30 Hz, and its 8 mm range resolution enables precise detection of underwater objects. Featuring an integrated velocimeter, the Gemini 720is ensures accurate distance measurements and supports both Ethernet and VDSL interfaces. It is compatible with Seanet Pro for control and data acquisition, with optional Gemini SeaTecsoftware for advanced tracking and classification. Ideal for ROV/AUV navigation, target recognition, SAR missions, and subsea inspection, this sonar is rated for depths up to 1000 meters.
