VALEPORT SVX2

The Valeport MIDAS SVX2 is a high-performance CTD and sound velocity profiler designed for precise marine data collection across various environments. Combining conductivity, temperature, depth, and sound velocity sensors in one unit, it enables synchronized, high-resolution data acquisition for applications such as subsea profiling, oceanographic research, and hydrographic surveys. The system delivers excellent accuracy with ±0.03 m/s for sound velocity, ±0.01 mS/cm for conductivity, ±0.01°C for temperature, and up to ±0.01% for pressure. Depth-rated to 6000 meters, it supports multiple sampling modes and stores over 1.6 million data points. With versatile communication options (RS232/422/485, USB) and compatibility with Valeport’s DataLog Express software, the MIDAS SVX2 is ideal for both autonomous deployments and real-time data acquisition in demanding ocean environments.
